Kiva Loan: El Salvador

Because I’ve received back money from previous loans I’ve now lent money to another entrepreneur; this time in El Salvador. This time I lent money to a woman who helps support her family by making pupusas, a traditional Salvadorian dish, and selling them at the local market. The money she lends will go to ingredients and propane gas.

Part of my earnings from both my Paperweight Memories store and my Organize Life store go to charity. Since I’m an entrepreneur myself, I’ve decided to donate to Kiva.

Kiva is a non-profit organization working to alleviate poverty by lending money to people who would not be able to get a loan in their own communities.

New design for organization printables

I am currently in the process of trying out a new design for my organization printables. The printables have gone through some design changes over the years. The first ones were not editable and came in three different colours. The reason they looked the way they did was mainly that I wanted to use my scrapbook papers as the background and I thought the colours I found worked well together. The second version also used a scrapbook pattern, but in only one colour and more discreetly. The third and newest version is very simple, no patterns, only solid colours.

Below you can see three different versions of a recipe page.

Kiva Loan: Buying pigs in Ecuador

Part of my earnings from both my Paperweight Memories store and my Organize Life store go to charity. Since I’m an entrepreneur myself, I’ve decided to donate to Kiva.

Kiva is a non-profit organization working to alleviate poverty by lending money to people who would not be able to get a loan in their own communities. They do this by letting many individuals make small loans (as little as $25) to help struggling entrepreneurs around the world. So far they’ve leant over $630 million to over 1.4 million borrowers from 79 countries.

Just the other day I lent $25 to Estefany Mishelle from Ecuador.
